Program of events / Calendar:

The Rhyl and District Amateur Radio Club meets on the 1st Wednesday of every month, at 7:30pm, at the Rhyl Yacht Club building, Horton Nose Lane, Kinmel Bay, Rhyl LL18 5AR.
We also meet on the 3rd Saturday of every month, at 10AM, at the Rhyl Rugby Sports & Social Club, Tynewydd Road, Rhyl LL18 4AQ, for a breakfast meeting.
Most of our evening meetings are informal "natter night" type meetings. We do try to have at least one radio set up every evening meeting for members to use, and all members are encouraged to bring along any radios, antennas, or other equipment that they may want to show, talk about, test, or have help with etc.
Our morning breakfast meetings are social gatherings, as we don't have the facilities to bring radios or other equipment.

Contests:

We would like to enter a few contests, not as a serious attempt to win, but just for fun! Have a think what contests you would like to enter, and let us know, perhaps on one of our club nets... (The Practical Wireless 144MHz QRP contest always proved popular with our members in the past)

Also, all club members are encouraged to enter as many of the monthly RSGB "Activity Contests" as possible, on behalf of the club. The main object of these contests is to promote activity on these sometimes neglected bands, so please support them if you can. You don't need any special equipment or antennas, just use what you have got.   Full rules are available by clicking the links below:

(Please remember to select "Rhyl & DARC" from the club drop-down menu when uploading your logs, to ensure your scores get credited to the club as well as yourself.)
